Festive soup market at Paternoster Square

December 10, 2018

On the 5th of December LG Vestra, assisted by Alastair Currie Events and BMC Security, marked their first annual soup market. They managed to raise over £10,000 for Streets of London, with all proceeds going to the charity to help tackle homelessness through specialist support for people who are homeless in London.

Held in London's Paternoster Square, patrons had the opportunity to purchase soup from some of the city's best restaurants, all in the spirit of charity. Local choirs added to the festive atmosphere with live concerts throughout the afternoon.

Streets of London fund projects that make a positive impact to the lives of homeless people in London.

Using their knowledge and experience of the sector, they identify projects where the funding will make a difference by providing homeless people with the support they need to get back on their feet and empowering them to make lasting changes in their lives.

Streets of London fund specific projects at a number of charities each year, targeting the money where it's needed most, ensuring the biggest possible impact.

In the last three years, Streets of London has made grants totaling more than £250,000 to fund projects that offer life-changing support to homeless people in London.
